Job summary

The Bachrach Group in New York is seeking a Workday Financials Specialist for a midtown nonprofit. You will serve as the SME for configuration, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of the Workday Financial Management platform.

This is a permanent, on-site role in NYC. You will lead or participate in the initial Workday build, finance process redesign, system integrations, reporting and analytics development, testing, and day-to-day application support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Workday Financials implementation.
• Experience with Workday modules including GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Grants, Budgeting.
• Understanding of financial management processes including record-to-report, procure-to-pay and budgeting & financial planning.
• Experience gathering requirements, configuring solutions and managing multiple priorities.

Our client is a midtown non-profit looking to add a Workday Financials Specialist to the team.

This is role requires you to work primarily on-site.

This is a permanent role - must be local to NYC to be considered

The organization is in the process of implementing Workday as their new ERP and this role will be vital in ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the system is successful.

• You will serve as the SME responsible for configuration, implementation, enhancement, support, and optimization of the Workday Financial Management platform.
• You will also lead or participate in the initial Workday Financials build, business process redesign initiatives, system integrations, reporting and analytics development, testing efforts, and ongoing application support.
• The ideal candidate combines strong financial knowledge with Workday expertise and a consultative approach to solving business challenges

Required:

• Experience as part of a Workday Financials implementation
• Experience with Workday Financial modules including GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Grants, Budgeting, etc
• Understanding of financial management processes including record-to-report, procure-to-pay and budgeting & financial planning
