Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. seeks a Workday Endowments Manager to lead endowment accounting, fund management, and reporting within Workday Financials. The role partners with Finance, Advancement, Treasury, and IT to shape requirements and optimize processes.

As a Manager, you will mentor staff, drive system enhancements, and ensure data integrity across endowments. This hybrid role requires travel as needed and a passion for enterprise software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3-5 years of Workday Financials experience.
• Strong expertise with Workday Endowments, Grants, Revenue, or related financial modules.
• Workday Financials certification preferred.
• Experience leading system implementations, enhancements, or support teams.
• Knowledge of endowment accounting, fund restrictions, spending policies, and financial reporting.
• Willingness to travel as requested by the client.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and optimization of Workday Endowments and related Workday Financials modules.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Advancement, Treasury, and IT stakeholders to define business requirements.
• Configure and maintain endowment funds, spending rules, reporting structures, and workflows.
• Manage Workday release reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting endowment performance and compliance.
• Oversee integrations between Workday and external financial or donor-management systems.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to organizational policies.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to end users.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and recommend system enhancements.
