Job summary

Armanino LLP is seeking a Workday PSA & Financials Data Engineer in Chicago to design, implement, and optimize data integration, security, and reporting across PSA and FINS modules. You will work with business analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and scalable solutions.

You will lead data migrations, contribute to data conversion standards, and document solutions with maps and diagrams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with Workday in a systems, integrations, data conversion, or analyst capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Workday PSA and Financials (FINS) modules.
• Hands-on experience with Workday reporting and data management.
• Experience managing data migrations and phased deployments.
• Proficiency in Workday data load tools including APIs and EIBs.
• Experience supporting technology integration during mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience creating technical documentation (process maps, SOPs, data flow diagrams).
• Experience creating technical documentation (process maps, SOPs, data flow diagrams).

Responsibilities

• Develop Workday data integration, security design, reporting, and data management across PSA and FINS.
• Design, document, and communicate end-to-end Workday data conversion solutions.
• Deliver technical documentation such as process maps and data flow diagrams.
• Deploy technical solutions within agreed timelines.
• Forecast and manage workload as a self-starter.
• Lead data analysis, transformation, and load activities for Workday.
• Collaborate with analysts and leads to evaluate requirements.
• Support issue investigation and escalation with cross-team engineers.
• Ensure role-based access and audit controls align with policies.
• Work with integration developers and platform teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Serve as data SME and ambassador to Data & Architecture teams.
• Use Workday data loading tools and EIBs, SQL, and ETL methods to manage data.
• Support M&A, reimplementation, and enterprise initiatives with data-conversion standards.
