Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Workday-focused HRIS professional in Houston to configure and optimize Workday environments for a large enterprise. You will support Learning, Talent, and HCM modules, ensuring data integrity and effective reporting across a multi-location workforce.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 per year, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits. You will collaborate across HR, operations, and IT to drive continuous improvement and strategic HR

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HRIS/HR Tech experience.
• Hands-on Workday configuration experience required.
• Experience with Workday Learning, Talent, or HCM modules preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, configuration, and security concepts.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical users.

Job Details

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex system challenges, partnering with business stakeholders, and improving the employee experience through technology. You'll play a key role in supporting and optimizing the organization's Workday environment, with a strong emphasis on configuration, business process enhancements, Learning module administration, and end-user support.

This is a highly collaborative position offering strong visibility across the organization, exposure to enterprise-scale HR technology initiatives, and excellent long-term growth potential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday functionality across HR-related modules
• Serve as a primary resource for Workday Learning administration and configuration
• Support business process improvements and system optimization initiatives
• Create and maintain calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, releases, and enhancement projects
• Troubleshoot complex Workday issues and provide functional support to internal stakeholders
• Partner with HR, Operations, and business leaders to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across HR systems
• Assist with documentation, training, and user adoption efforts
• Participate in a rotating support schedule to assist with escalated system inquiries

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of HRIS, HR Technology, HR Systems, or related experience
• Hands‑on Workday configuration experience required
• Experience supporting Workday Learning, Talent, or HCM modules strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, and security concepts
• Experience building calculated fields, custom reports, and dashboards
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users
• Experience supporting large employee populations and multi‑location organizations is a plus
• Experience with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, BIRT, or Studio preferred
• Prior experience supporting enterprise‑level HR technology environments
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
