Job summary

Accenture is hiring a Workday Extend Lead to design, build, and implement new and existing Workday Extend use cases for HCM and Financials. You will manage data integrations, ensure data quality, and exchange reliability across systems.

The role requires hands-on Workday Integrations experience, certification, and a track record with full lifecycle implementations in a large consulting environment. Hybrid role with Nashville focus and candidates in other cities considered.

Qualifications

• Certified in Workday Integrations Partner and Workday Extend.
• 2+ years of consulting experience in Senior Analyst/Consultant roles.
• 2+ years of experience in full life-cycle implementations with modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware).
• 1+ year hands-on Workday Integrations experience & 1 Full lifecycle Workday Integrations Implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (12 years work exp). If Associate’s degree, 6 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new and Existing Workday Extend use cases for Workday HCM & Financials.
• Comprehend data integrations and ensure data quality and reliable exchanges.
• Identify, assess, and solve complex problems for integrating Workday with external applications across Financial areas.
• Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and 3rd party coding.
• Collaborate with client and 3rd parties to develop technical solutions that support business processes.
• Follow client leadership in establishing Workday project goals.
• Collaborate with client counterparts to deliver shared objectives (design and build).
• Identify and escalate risks and develop alternative approaches when necessary.
• Have latitude in decision-making and determine methods on new assignments.

Workday Extend Lead

• Design, develop, and implement new and Existing Workday Extend use cases for both Workday HCM & Financials.
• Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information
• Identify, assess,and solvecomplex business problemsfor integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of Financial functional areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding
• Collaborate with client and 3rdparties to develop technical solutions that support business processes
• Closelyfollow the strategic directionset by clientleadership when establishing Workday project goals
• Collaborate with client counterparts to deliver shared objectives (including design and build activities)
• Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
• Hassome latitudein decision-making - acts independently to determine methods and procedures onnewassignments.

This is a hybrid role in Nashville, TN and will require 3 days per week in the office. Will consider qualified candidates in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX.

Here’s what you need:

• Existing and up to date Workday Integrations Partner Certificationand Workday Extend Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience, most recently in a Senior Analyst, Consultant, or similar level role, preferably with a large consulting firm
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in full life-cycle implementations with the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware)
• Minimum of 1 year hands‑on Workday Integrations experience & 1 Full lifecycle Workday Integrations Implementation
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.

Bonus points if:

• Congruent designer and developer experience with demonstrated ability to deliver coded integration work to a production environment
• Self‑starter with proven ability to work within a team‑oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment
• Demonstrated experience with Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
