Location:

This role is primarily remote within the continental United States (EST/CST preferred), near a major airport. Candidates must be able to travel for conferences, seminars, meetings, trainings, etc., including to our Indianapolis, Indiana Central Office.

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Sr. Mobile React Native Developer to drive mobile development at TRIMEDX. You will lead, define, and implement mobile best practices, and develop mobile apps from scratch.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a greenfield environment on both Android and iOS, with excellent problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams. You will be responsible for architecting and developing mobile applications, coordinating with other product infrastructure teams. Building a product is highly collaborative, so we value strong team players.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.
• Lead the development, architecture, and design of new features from inception to release in a greenfield agile project.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure optimal user experience and performance.
• Establish and promote mobile best practices, standards, and guidelines within the team.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and standards.
• Perform code reviews, identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and support automated testing.
• Leverage native/REST APIs for deep platform integrations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Mentor and train junior developers to foster professional growth.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Mobile Developer with expertise in React Native for iOS and Android.
• Experience across the full mobile development lifecycle, understanding platform-specific requirements.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and ES6+.
• Knowledge of Android and iOS development processes.
• Experience in greenfield projects, UI/UX design principles, and integration with APIs.
• Proficiency with state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with native build tools such as XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ.
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and security practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, modern build tools, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud services like Azure, Snowflake.
• Contributions to open source projects or published apps.
