Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Workday Analyst to join the People Systems team to administer and improve the Workday environment. You will support operational, cyclical, and change-management work, turning requests into tested system updates with guidance from senior teammates.

You will own assigned workstreams, collaborate with People Systems and cross-functional partners, and handle confidential data with precision while documenting outcomes and providing implementation guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Workday configuration, administration, or HRIS experience.
• Experience configuring or supporting Workday HCM, Reporting, Security, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, or other employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience supporting data loads, reporting requests, system changes, testing, or operational workflows in an enterprise HRIS environment.
• Experience working with confidential information and business‑critical processes with close attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including documenting work, partnering with stakeholders, and raising risks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Workday capabilities across Core HCM, Security, Time Tracking, Absence, and Reporting.
• Handle recurring operational work: Workday Inbox, access updates, data requests, and life cycle processes.
• Support configuration and reporting requests via Enterprise Interface Builder loads, compensation range updates, and org changes.
• Conduct functional impact analyses and escalate high-risk changes through review paths.
• Test Workday releases and new features; document results and guidance.
• Triage requests, gather requirements, clarify outcomes, and partner with stakeholders on solutions.
• Maintain support documentation and identify system gaps while ensuring security and audit requirements.
