Job summary

Baker Tilly US, a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm, seeks a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will lead engagements, guide teams, and help clients optimize planning, forecasting, and financial reporting across diverse projects.

The role requires 5+ years in EPM/FP&A, 4+ years with Workday Adaptive Planning, and strong JavaScript/SQL skills. Travel ~20% and a focus on client value and methodology development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
• Minimum of 4 years of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
• Experience in JavaScript and SQL, with ability to troubleshoot data integrations.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate financial accounting experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
• Consulting experience preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Facilitate client sessions to understand processes, planning requirements, reporting needs, and KPIs.
• Manage Workday Adaptive Planning engagements, guiding model design, security, reporting, and scenario planning.
• Design, configure, test, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning models, including sheets, versions, dimensions, security, dashboards, and OfficeConnect.
• Oversee integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other systems.
• Lead design and implementation of integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other platforms.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Manage project risks, issues, and client expectations.
• Review deliverables for quality and standards adherence.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Mentor and coach team members; support their development.
• Support business development with proposals, demos, and scoping.
• Contribute to methodology development and reusable assets.
• Stay current on product enhancements and industry trends.
