The work study program provides funds for part‑time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Support Student Life and promote campus engagement by capturing photos and videos that showcase student activities, DMACC Athletics, and campus life.
Photograph and record campus and athletic events, capture engaging and inclusive content, organize and submit photos and videos, and represent DMACC professionally while attending events.
Maintain photography/videography equipment, and support other departments as assigned.
Must be a current, full‑time DMACC student taking at least 12 credits.
Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Must demonstrate creativity and attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills, reliability and professionalism, adaptability and problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must have an interest in photography and/or videography, a willingness to learn and develop new skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for DMACC and showcasing the student experience.
Must have flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on campus and athletics event schedules.
Previous photography, videography, or content creation experience.
20 hours per week. Schedule varies based on the event calendar and student availability.
