Job description

Work Study LLC Program Assistant

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement intentional programs and events as outlined in the LLC programming model.
• Attend mandatory LLCPA training sessions before each semester and support early move‑in initiatives when offered.
• Promote resources of collaborating departments and offices partnering with your assigned LLC.
• Attend regular LLCPA staff meetings on Thursday nights from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM.
• Meet regularly with RAs, faculty, and staff associated with the assigned LLC (at least once per month).
• Assist in maintaining the LLC’s social media websites.
• Assist with recruitment and retention of new LLC students.
• Complete and submit the timesheet by the deadline provided by Residence Life & Housing.
• Check BSU email at least once per day for work correspondence.

Qualifications

• Understand and support the mission and vision of the assigned LLC.
• Enroll as a full‑time undergraduate student throughout the course of employment.
• Maintain satisfactory academic and disciplinary standing as determined by the Office of Residence Life and Housing and the Office of Community Standards.
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to positively contribute to a team; previous programming skills preferred.
• Preference given to candidates with federal Work‑Study funds.

Physical Demands

This role requires campus travel and may involve lifting items weighing 15 lb to 25 lb.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $15.00
