Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist library patrons of all ages with informational and computer help.
• Shelve materials and maintain stacks.
• Answer the telephone and handle routine inquiries.
• Perform cash handling, check‑in and check‑out of library materials.
• Engage in daily and weekly cleaning duties and building security.
• Follow designated work hours: Monday–Thursday 8‑9 pm, Friday 8‑5 pm, Sunday 12‑9 pm.
• Adhere to library dress code and lift up to 20 lbs.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System, alphabetization, and change making.
• Pass a proficiency quiz with 100 % score upon verification of work‑study funding.
