University of Wyoming in Laramie is offering a Data Assistant (Work Study) position with WYNDD. You'll support biological research and data management, performing data entry, filing, and lab tasks related to aquatic invertebrates and vegetation communities of conservation concern.
Candidates must be current UW students, eligible for work-study, with a high school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.

Pay rate or range: $13.00/ hour
Help with biological research and data management
Data entry, filing, sorting aquatic invertebrates, and other duties associated with research and data management for species and vegetation communities of conservation concern in Wyoming. Many duties will be in a lab that includes sorting aquatic insects, pinning pollinators and other invertebrate related research. Chance for summer employment as biological technician.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: No experience necessary, just a willingness to work and attention to detail
Other requirements:
An interest in wildlife, aquatic ecosystems, botany, and/or vegetation communities. All majors and backgrounds welcome.
