Technician, Master
We are seeking a master technician to manage the Red ButtesEnvironmental Laboratory located 11 miles south of the Universityof Wyoming campus in Laramie WY. Under very limited supervision,perform complex expert-level engineering, research, and/or computer systems configuration(s); responsible for the development,interpretation and adaptation of project plans, techniques, designsand layouts; oversee the completion of projects by determining workassignments and by reviewing, analyzing and integrating thetechnical work of designated support staff.
Education: Associate's degree in a related field, or completionof related technical or vocational education/training
Experience: 9 years work-related experience in the design,construction, fabrication, repair and maintenance of mechanical orelectronic equipment or systems
Required licensure, certification, registration or otherrequirements:
Minimum experience requirements are evaluated on a full-timeequivalent (FTE) basis. Relevant part-time experience will be prorated based on hours worked. For example, two years working an average of 20 hours per week is equivalent to approximately oneyear of full-time experience.
Applicants must include the average hours worked per week for allcurrent and previous positions. Failure to provide this informationmay affect the evaluation of qualifications.
