Job summary

Inteplast Group is offering a one-year internship for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer student to gain exposure to US manufacturing processes. The role focuses on electrical wiring, HMI/PC/PLC development, and hands-on calibration, debugging, and integration work.

Ideal candidates are Electrical Engineering students with PLC knowledge, programming skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at the Lolita, TX site.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student enrolled in the Electronic or Electrical Engineering field.
• Basic understanding of PLC control, automation control, and electronic circuits is a plus.
• Proficiency with software/hardware integration including calibration, debug and electrical wiring skills.
• Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages like C, C++, C#, Java, Python or VB.net (Windows and/or Linux) is preferred.
• Experience or familiarity with Database (SQL) and network administration and PC hardware/software is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or on a team in fast paced work environment.
• Effective research and analysis skills.
• Passion for learning while working as a team player.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
