Job summary

AEDD in Arkansas is hiring a Full-Time Work Instructor/Driver to support adults with developmental disabilities. The role combines teaching, supervision, and safe transportation to and from the AEDD facility, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:30 PM.

We seek compassionate, reliable people who want to make a difference, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and can pass background checks and drug tests. CPR/First Aid is a plus; training assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• You must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Arkansas Driver's License.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• As a Work Instructor, supervise individuals as they complete meaningful work tasks.
• Provide guidance in communication, social development, and cognitive skills.
• Help consumers meet production goals while maintaining quality.
• Observe and track progress on individual goals and provide feedback.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one learning sessions to support growth.
