Job summary

AEDD, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Work Instructor/Driver to support adults with developmental disabilities. The role combines teaching, guiding, and assisting with daily work activities, and safely transporting participants to and from the AEDD facility.

We seek compassionate, reliable individuals who can supervise meaningful tasks, promote communication and social development, and help participants reach personal and production goals in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You have a valid Arkansas Driver's License.
• You can pass a background check and drug test.
• You have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in human services is a plus!
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but AEDD can help you get it if needed.
• You are ready to support a group of consumers as they achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• As a Work Instructor, you will support and supervise individuals as they complete meaningful work tasks.
• Provide guidance in areas like communication, social development, and cognitive skills.
• Help consumers meet production goals, while maintaining high quality standards.
• Observe and track progress on individual goals, providing feedback and support.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one learning sessions to help individuals grow personally and professionally.
• As a Driver, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of consumers to and from the facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle for all passengers.
• Keep transportation logs and track daily vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $14.00/hr DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
