Job summary

You will work with senior attorneys on state and federal cases, conduct medical record investigations, and contribute to a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating practice.

Ideal candidates are licensed in Kansas and Missouri, have strong litigation and communication skills, and can manage heavy caseloads while collaborating with paralegals and support staff.

• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and track volume caseload with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Legal Research: You will perform legal research and stay current with new developments in the law.

• Attorney Responsibilities: You will handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants & judges, and court appearances as you grow in your legal career.
• Drafting: You will draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.

Evans & Dixon is currently seeking to add a Workers' Compensation Attorney in our Kansas City office. We are seeking an attorney with 3 to 5+ years of experience who has great litigation and administrative skills, and is eager to put those skills to work. As a Workers' Compensation Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work with highly experienced Workers' Compensation Attorneys. You will dive into different aspects of workers' compensation, investigate medical research and records, and will be working with a team of attorneys on a multitude of cases. Successful candidates will have a durable work ethic, superior ability to multitask, and enjoy working in a fast pace and intellectually stimulating setting.

What you'll do:
