Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions in Gulfport, MS seeks a Work-Based Learning Coordinator to develop and manage WBL linkages with local employers and coordinate college partnerships. You will place students and assist in transitions to jobs or further education.

The role requires an Associate’s degree and two years of related experience; a Bachelor's is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree; two (2) years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain work-based learning (WBL) linkages with local employers.
• Coordinate center’s ACT (college) program with local college; ensure slot utilization.
• Oversee ACT training programs, monitor agreements and student placement.
• Coordinate attendance, transportation, meals, and billing.
• Assist recruiters with outreach and support career development activities.
