Job summary

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) is seeking a skilled Work-Based Learning Coordinator to support WIOA initiatives in Kernersville. This role provides technical assistance and oversight of work-based learning programs such as Work Experience and On-the-Job Training, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business and management or equivalent.
• Considerable knowledge of policies and procedures governing the WIOA.
• Ability to work independently; review information for accuracy; interpret regulations; determine when to seek guidance; strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Six-month probationary employment period.

Responsibilities

• Assists with outreach, events, partnerships and engagement
• Handles Work Experience approvals and tracking
• Provides On-the-Job Training technical assistance, review and tracking
• Provides Incumbent worker grant technical assistance, review and tracking
• Functions as local area youth lead
• Coordinates and facilitates Youth Services Council Meetings
• Develop, update, and implement policies, procedures, and guidance materials to support program effectiveness and compliance
