ISD 318 - Grand Rapids & Bigfork is seeking a Work Based Learning Coordinator to design, implement and evaluate student learning through work experiences. The coordinator collaborates with school staff, IEP teams, businesses, industry and community representatives to create meaningful work-based learning opportunities.

This salaried, 1.0 FTE position follows the school year with additional days; starting pay ranges from $45,600 to $82,025, reflecting district scales and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minnesota teaching license for work based learning.
• Tier 2–4 WBL endorsement, completion within one year.
• At least 5 years special education classroom experience; leadership preferred.

Job description

Purpose

The purpose of the Work Based Learning Coordinator is to provide and coordinate services that enable students to learn through work experiences. The coordinator works with school staff, IEP teams, businesses, industry, and community representatives to design, implement and evaluate student learning through work.

Terms Of Employment

• Salaried position, 1.0 FTE
• School year, plus some additional days
• Starting Pay: $45,600-$82,025

Qualifications

• Teaching License for Work Based Learning in the state of Minnesota as provided by applicable state laws, rules and regulations.
• Tier 2, 3 or 4 license that encompasses grades 9-12 and participating or enrolled in a Work Based Learning endorsement program. Completion expected within one year.
• At least 5 years special education classroom experience along with building/district level leadership experience preferred.
