Job summary

The Lisinski Law Firm is seeking a Website Support Specialist to maintain and secure the firm’s public websites, CMSs, and related web applications. You will perform hosting security, patching, WordPress administration, DNS management, and basic integrations, while communicating complex issues to nontechnical colleagues.

You will work from a ticket queue, run security scans, verify backups, and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in web support, web administration, or web operations.
• Experience with WordPress administration, including core/plugin/theme updates, configuration, and security.
• Working knowledge of web hosting environments (managed hosting, cPanel/Plesk, basic Linux).
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Search Console; CDN/WAF (e.g., Cloudflare) and security plugins (Wordfence, Sucuri) is a plus.
• Experience with Google AdSense is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply regular updates to WordPress hosting, CMS core, plugins, themes, and server-side components; monitor sites for vulnerabilities and remediate as needed.
• Administer WordPress and other CMS platforms—users, roles, plugins, and themes—and troubleshoot site errors, plugin conflicts, and broken functionality.
• Manage and verify backups and maintain restore and rollback procedures, testing changes in a staging environment before promoting to production.
• Manage domain registrations, renewals, and transfers; configure and troubleshoot DNS records and diagnose propagation issues with registrars and hosts.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate issuance, renewal, and installation, and harden hosting environments through access controls and WAF/security rules.
• Support and troubleshoot basic third-party integrations—web forms, CRM, marketing tools, analytics, and webhooks/APIs.
• Configure and maintain analytics and tracking (GA4, Search Console, tag management), produce recurring traffic and performance reports, and flag anomalies.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for website-related requests via the ticketing system, maintain documentation and runbooks, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
