Collaborate with designers, content creators, and technical teams to deliver accessible, secure, and high‑performing websites while adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards and modern web practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of web development experience
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+), and PHP
• Deep understanding of the WordPress core, template hierarchy, hooks, filters, and custom post types
• Strong experience using Git for source control
• Knowledge of DNS configurations and domain management
• Knowledge of SEO principles and AI aggregation techniques to optimize content for search engines
• Proficiency in using web analytics tools, like Google Analytics, to track content performance and make data-driven decisions
• Strong project management skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly

Responsibilities

• Translate designs into semantic, responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript
• Ensure accessibility WCAG 2.1 AA and mobile-first design
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Integrate internal and third-party APIs to display dynamic data securely
• Optimize database queries and server-side code for fast performance
• Manage code repositories and deployment workflows across Pantheon environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align web solutions with college objectives and drive performance
