Job summary

ATL MarTech is seeking a WordPress developer to build and improve fast, accessible sites with marketing analytics and SEO baked in. You will create custom block themes, plugins, and integrations while applying AI-assisted coding practices and reviewing AI outputs for security and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional WordPress development.
• Experience with version control, staging workflows and managed WordPress hosting.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO and WCAG 2.2 AA.

Responsibilities

• Build custom block themes, Gutenberg blocks and patterns.
• Develop and maintain plugins and integrations with CRMs and marketing platforms.
• Implement GA4, Google Tag Manager, consent tools and structured data.
• Improve performance, security hardening and accessibility on existing sites.
• Plan and run migrations and redesigns without losing search traffic.

Job description

Build and improve WordPress sites that load fast, meet accessibility standards and give marketing teams the flexibility they need, with analytics and SEO built in.

• Location Remote, United States (Atlanta area a plus)


• Type Contract to start, with full-time possible


• Build custom block themes, Gutenberg blocks and patterns


• Develop and maintain plugins and integrations with CRMs and marketing platforms


• Implement GA4, Google Tag Manager, consent tools and structured data


• Improve performance, security hardening and accessibility on existing sites


• Plan and run migrations and redesigns without losing search traffic

What you bring

• 3+ years of professional WordPress development


• Experience with version control, staging workflows and managed WordPress hosting


• Working knowledge of technical SEO and WCAG 2.2 AA

How you use AI

• Use AI coding assistants daily, and review, test and secure what they write


• Have built or integrated an AI feature in WordPress: content workflows, search, chat or editorial tools


• Have used AI to speed up migrations, content audits or accessibility fixes, and can explain how you checked the output


• Understand the privacy and security questions of sending site content to AI services
