Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Machine Operator in Belgrade, MN to monitor and operate woodworking machines, ensuring precise dimensions and safe, efficient production. The role requires setting up equipment and performing ongoing quality checks in a fully onsite facility.

Responsibilities include logging production data, maintaining equipment, handling materials, and assisting with packing and inventory tasks to support a smooth manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Set up woodworking machinery at the start of each shift to ensure proper operation and correct cutting dimensions.
• Monitor machine performance and product flow, adjusting equipment to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Record and maintain logs of daily processes, production and QC measurements.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine upkeep for safe operation.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper placement and safe flow.
• Use hand and power tools and tape measures to set up equipment and verify dimensions.
• Inspect finished and in-process products for defects and take corrective action.
• Assist with assembly, packaging and packing of finished goods.
• Support inventory tasks by moving, staging and organizing materials.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as required.
• Interpret blueprints or production instructions to set up and run machines.
