Cibes|Symmetry is currently recruiting for a Finisher/Sprayer in our Interior Elevator CAB department, located in our Roanoke, IL Facility.

This is a first shift position: 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on workload.

Job Tasks

The incumbent applies paint, clear coat, stain, etc., to components as specified by written instructions, schedules, and drawings; inspects completed work for conformance to specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets specifications or work orders to determine units or pieces to be painted.
• Prepares pieces for coating, including rolling, lifting, or maneuvering onto and off saw horses.
• Sets and adjusts spray nozzles and directs spray onto surfaces.
• Inspects parts visually according to quality standards.
• Cleans and maintains the spray booth, including changing filters as needed.
• Troubleshoots and reworks failed pieces.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean work area.
• Participates in training and cross-training as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Job Skills

• Experience with paint application techniques and equipment in manufacturing.
• Ability to read procedures and work orders.
• Knowledge of adhesion and substrate preparation.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands and Essential Functions

This role involves working in an industrial environment with exposure to various physical demands, including lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for long periods, and working near moving machinery. Overtime may be scheduled as needed.
