Utility Tech/Laborer--A Action Pest Control (Maintenance)

A-Action Pest Control, a trusted company of the Rollins Family of Brands, is rapidly expanding, and we are searching for our next Utility Technician to install home pest management services across our Northeastern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin service areas. These positions offer full-time employment all year round.

You will…

• Perform a variety of tasks involving installation and rodent exclusion projects;
• Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed;
• Handle handyman tasks, general repairs, insulation, encapsulation, and gutter installation;
• Stay within the projected budget and complete paperwork at the end of each job;
• Perform termite bait installation and insulation replacement projects;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old;
• Must have at least 1 year of general carpentry experience;
• Valid driver's license maintained throughout employment.

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within its weight capacity;
• Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands;
• Install encapsulation in low light conditions;
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.;
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.;
• Work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow, and ice;
• Work environment may be loud depending on the worksite.
