Premier Mantels @ Renovation Brands in Florence, AL is seeking a CNC Operator / Programmer with a woodworking background to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will program and operate CNC equipment for wood processing.

The role includes supporting production scheduling, creating and interpreting CNC programs (G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, MozaiK), selecting tooling, reading blueprints, testing programs, and maintaining safety and ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in woodworking, custom manufacturing, or related environment.
• Experience with CNC programming preferred (G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, MozaiK).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and production scheduling.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations applied to shop situations.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; hands-on in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production scheduling and resource planning.
• Create, edit, and interpret CNC programs for routers, saws, and woodworking machinery.
• Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds based on wood species and process.
• Read blueprints to guide setup and machining decisions.
• Test and validate CNC programs with gauges and measurements.
• Load/unload castings and raw materials safely in CNC machinery.
• Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on CNC machinery.
• Support continuous improvement in machining processes and fixtures design.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams on product changes.
• Adhere to ISO requirements, safety procedures, and quality policies.
