Job summary

Renovation Brands is seeking an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer for wood processing in Florence, AL. You will program and operate CNC equipment, select tooling and speeds, and ensure precision and safety in a fast-paced shop.

You will work with engineering, design, and production teams to implement changes, scheduling, and continuous improvement. On-site, full-time hours apply with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in woodworking or related manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC programming is preferred (G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, MozaiK).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and scheduling.
• Strong mathematical ability for fractions, percentages, ratios and shop calculations.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a hands-on warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production scheduling and coordinate with shop personnel.
• Create, edit, and interpret CNC programs for routers, saws, and woodworking machinery.
• Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds based on wood species and process type.
• Read blueprints to guide setup and machining decisions.
• Test CNC programs with gauges and measurement tools; ensure accuracy and safety.
• Load and unload castings and raw materials safely in CNC equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on CNC machines.
• Support continuous improvement in machining processes and fixture design.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on product changes.
