Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in woodworking or related manufacturing environments.
• Experience programming CNC systems (G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, MozaiK).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and production scheduling.
• Solid math skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a hands-on shop setting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production scheduling and coordinate with shop personnel.
• Create, edit, and interpret CNC programs for routers, saws, and wood equipment.
• Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds based on wood species and process.
• Interpret blueprints to guide setup and machining decisions.
• Test CNC programs with gauges and ensure precision and safety within tolerance.
• Load/unload castings and raw materials safely in CNC machinery.
• Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in machining processes and fixtures.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on product changes.
