Job summary

Menchey School of Music in Lancaster, PA, is seeking an enthusiastic woodwind instructor to join our studio. You will build strong relationships, design engaging private lessons, and contribute to a supportive music-centered community.

This role involves teaching students of varying ages, preparing them for recitals, and collaborating with staff to ensure a high-quality educational experience. A background in music education or performance is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of college-level music training or equivalent.
• 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience or equivalent.
• Experience working with learners of all ages and skill levels.
• Ability to complete and maintain background checks.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, private woodwind lessons to students of varying ages and levels.
• Create a positive, encouraging, educational lesson environment.
• Help students grow musically and prepare for recitals and performances.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain attendance and lesson records in the scheduling system.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism and enthusiasm daily.
