The New School seeks a motivated Woodwind area student to support rehearsals, scheduling and master class promotion within the Mannes School of Music context. You will work with the Program & Administration Manager, helping with departmental initiatives and coordinating with the Production Office and Library.
Ideal candidates are current Woodwinds students with a track record in administration and a desire to pursue orchestral or classical music careers.
The Woodwinds Area at the College of Performing Arts seeks a highly motivated student to serve as Woodwind Area, Student Assistant. We’re looking for a creative and responsible individual to support initiatives within the Woodwind Area. This position reports to the Program and Administration Manager, Mannes School of Music and is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in the orchestral or classical music-related field.
This position is open to student applicants with Federal Work Study awards, as well as student applicants without a Federal Work Study award.
Hourly Rate: $17.00
Hours per Week: 1-2 hours per week on average (estimated 20 hours per semester)

Assist with the scheduling, rehearsal coordination, and master class promotion for Woodwind area activities while liaising with the College of Performing Arts Production Office and Library. Support departmental initiatives in coordination with the Co-Chairs and Program & Administration Manager alongside additional duties as assigned.
