Job summary

Open Plan Systems, a Richmond, VA-based furniture manufacturer, seeks a woodshop technician to perform daily woodshop functions, record receiving data, and schedule, create, and close wood department jobs.

You will work with other departments to ensure products meet company standards and are produced and distributed correctly and timely. Prior experience with CNC Point to Point and edge banding is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Experience operating woodshop equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to record receiving data and manage job schedules.
• Comfort coordinating with other departments to ensure quality and on-time production.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily woodshop area functions and record data in the system.
• Schedule, create, and close all wood department jobs.
• Assist and collaborate with other departments to ensure product meets company standards and distribution timelines.
