Reports to: Designated Site Principal based on Volunteer duties

Experience: Appropriate Experience based on area of interest

Other Requirements

• Clearance on background check that is satisfactory to the Administration.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate students.
• Possess positive character traits that are student-centered.
• Possess ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.

Essential Functions

• Ability to supervise students and maintain a safe instructional environment both on and off premises (i.e. traveling for away games, approved field trips, etc.)
• While students are under the Volunteer's supervision, remain present with students at all times, unless arrangements have been made for another staff member to cover the Volunteer's Supervisory duties.
• Maintain a high level of excellence of execution when completing assigned duties.

Physical Demands

• May require the ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire volunteer shift.
• May be asked to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• May require the ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• May be asked to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Must also be able to hear a conversation in a noisy environment.

Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Evaluation of Performance
