Job summary

Berea College is seeking a Woodcraft Manager to oversee the education and development of students in woodworking and manage day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or substantial experience, alongside at least 3 years in production woodworking and teaching experience.

The role includes developing an educational curriculum, supervising students, and ensuring safety in the workshop according to OSHA standards. This position is not eligible for benefits and requires significant physical activity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production/studio woodworking and supervisory experience.
• 2-3 years of teaching or training experience in a studio setting.
• Experience with curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Educate and develop students in Woodcraft.
• Develop and enact educational curriculum.
• Manage production schedules and day-to-day operations.
• Supervise students and contribute to special projects.
