Job summary

TREELINE INC is seeking a Wood Yard Operator to support the wood yard manager in buying, selling, and organizing wood across species. You will direct yard equipment operators, load trucks with a loader crane, and help manage sawmill operations and wood specs for compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment, following OSHA guidelines, and communicating effectively with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid card preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Maintains personal safety and watches out for the safety of others.
• Directs equipment operators within the woodyard and coordinates workloads.
• Operates heavy equipment safely, including front end loaders, crane, and yard machinery.
• Unloads trucks safely and timely to keep dispatch on schedule.
• Assists in buying and selling wood and monitors wood specs for compliance.
• Trains on Wood Scaler’s license and progresses toward licensure.
