Job Responsibilities

• Develop layout and design drawings from architectural drawings or sketches.
• Communicate with building designers or professionals to clarify or obtain information.
• Generate placement plans and identify locations of designs.
• Gather information on products, summarize, and coordinate with engineers for repairs if needed.
• Analyze technical data to ensure designs meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering personnel and modify designs as required.
• Review plans and diagrams to determine material specifications.
• Write technical descriptions for materials and properties.
• Create sketches or coordinate finished drawings and photographs.
