Job summary

Machine Operator / Production Worker – 1st Shift at Celerity Staffing Solutions is a full-time, first-shift role in a wood manufacturing facility. You will operate woodworking machinery, load and unload lumber, and support multiple departments as a general laborer.

The ideal candidate has prior wood manufacturing and machine operation experience, can lift 30–50 lbs unassisted, and commit to 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment with strong attendance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in wood manufacturing and machine operation preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move 30–50 lbs unassisted.
• Comfortable with twisting, bending, and reaching.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
• Load and unload lumber and wood products
• Inspect materials for defects and perform quality checks
• Discard scrap and defective pieces
• Assist with machine setup and adjustments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow production schedules, work orders, and shipping instructions
• Support multiple departments as a general laborer
