Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, run, monitor, and troubleshoot wood processing equipment on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 5:30am-1:30pm). You will operate panel saws, edge banders, CNC routing and packing equipment, aiming to meet daily production targets while following safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read measurements, and physical stamina to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements using a tape measure.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate wood processing equipment following safety processes.
• Produce parts to specifications to maximize daily productivity.
• Maintain a log of units produced and any rejected pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and perform basic adjustments and maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Ensure proper storage of materials in the warehouse.
