Job summary

Haworth, Inc. is seeking a skilled Assembler for the Wood Plant in Big Rapids, MI on 1st shift. You will assemble final products for customer shipment using various tools, with schedule from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, and overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates have basic blueprint reading, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work under overtime conditions while maintaining quality. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

8th grade education or higher.
Ability to work in Big Rapids, MI without relocation assistance.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
Ability to flex work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands.
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Access electronic production systems to determine daily schedule.
Verify parts against pick tickets and inspect components for proper fit and function.
Sub-assemble components using hand and power tools as needed.
Perform final visual and quality inspection of products.
Prepare and package components for next process or shipment.
Enter order data into electronic production system and create labels.
Escalate and document production nonconformance issues.
Rotate through department work centers as needed.
Work overtime as required.
Take on additional responsibilities to support business objectives.
