Job summary

Haselden Construction is seeking a Project Estimator for our Centennial, CO office to support prepurchase activities and build comprehensive estimates for self-perform wood framing projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Preconstruction, subcontractors, and suppliers to price labor, materials, and equipment, and to ensure accurate budgets for design stages and construction documents. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Architectural Eng, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and present technical information to managers, clients, and vendors.
• Experience reading construction documents for wood framed projects.

Responsibilities

• Supports Preconstruction in project acquisition including pre-planning and budgeting for RFPs.
• Performs site visits to assist in RFP preparations.
• Builds detailed estimates for labor, material, equipment, logistics, and general conditions.
• Consults with teams to discuss cost reductions and pricing accuracy.
• Reviews takeoffs and estimates with Self Perform and Preconstruction teams.
• Manages multiple projects concurrently.
