Job summary

Haselden Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator for our Self-Perform Wood Framing team in Centennial, CO. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive preconstruction estimates, coordinating with Preconstruction and Operations, and managing multiple concurrent bids.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in wood framing, detailed takeoffs using ProEst/Planswift, and experience building budgets across design stages. On-site collaboration in the Centennial office is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations; write reports and business correspondence; present technical information.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts (probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry) and apply fractions, percentages, ratios.
• Ability to read and analyze construction documents for wood framed construction projects.
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheet programs and package estimating systems.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, logistics, general conditions and fees.
• Lead takeoff and estimate reviews with Self-Perform and Preconstruction teams.
• Prepare estimates for all design stages: Conceptual to Construction Documents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and value engineering.
• Maintain subcontractor/supplier database and prepare bid packages.
