Job summary

84 Lumber Company in Coal Center, PA is seeking a full-time assembler for building material components. You will assemble wall panels, roof and floor trusses, clamp and fit parts, and verify dimensions according to blueprints.

You will use hand and power tools, and follow the supervisor's instructions to meet quality specifications. The role involves working 10–12 hour shifts in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and the elements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and diagrams.
• Able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
• Willingness to work 10–12 hour shifts.
• Capable of standing, lifting up to 80 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble building material components such as wall panels, roof and floor trusses per blueprints.
• Clamp, splice, fit parts, and use hand and power tools as directed.
• Verify dimensions of precut parts and overall assembly accuracy.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications and suggest improvements.
• Follow cut sheets and production priorities to meet shift goals.
• Maintain area cleanliness and comply with company policies.
