Qualifications

• Read and understand simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Read diagrams, blueprints, and use a tape measure.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work 10–12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble building material components per supervisor instructions and blueprints.
• Clamp, splice, fit parts by hand and with power tools; verify dimensions.
• Hammer to place reinforcement plates on joints.
• Quality control and propose improvements to increase efficiency.
• Follow production list and operate press stations to place plates.
• Maintain daily machine and area cleanup.
