Job summary

AvaHR in Rogers, AR is seeking a motivated team member for nights and weekends in our wood-fired kitchen. You will prep, line and pizza station work, and support the oven while maintaining a guest-visible, spotless station.

The right candidate arrives on time, stays calm under pressure, and is eager to learn wood-fired cooking and dough. Prior line or prep experience is a plus, and we offer training.

Qualifications

• Must arrive on time for every shift.
• Ability to work calmly under busy, fast-paced conditions.
• Kitchen must be clean and guests can see the line; keep station presentable.
• Self-motivated and proactive with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Job description

We've been cooking from scratch in Rogers for 8 years: seed-oil-free, with sourdough fermented 4–5 days and fired in a real wood oven. Our kitchen is open to the dining room, so guests see everything we do.

What you'll do

• Prep
• Line and pizza station work
• Oven support
• Closing and cleaning duties

What we're looking for

• Shows up on time, every shift
• Moves efficiently and stays calm when it gets busy
• Keeps a clean, organized station and stays presentable, since our kitchen is in full view of guests
• Is self-motivated and sees what needs doing without being told
• Wants to learn wood-fired cooking and dough. Line or prep experience is a plus, and we'll train the right person.

Pay: $18–$20/hr depending on experience, plus a shift meal.

Schedule: Nights and weekends are required.
