Job summary

You will inspect work, maintain spray equipment, follow safety and lean manufacturing practices, and collaborate with finishing teams to meet production goals and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of wood finishing techniques, materials, and processes such as sanding, sealing, lacquering, varnishing, painting.
• Basic math for mixing finishes and measurement accuracy.
• Ability to use and maintain finishing tools and spray equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to match colors and finishes consistently.
• Adaptability to a changing environment and teamwork in finishing operations.
• Reliable and committed to quality and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Apply finishes (stains, paints, sealers, lacquers, varnishes) with brushes or sprayed methods.
• Inspect finished work for color match, coverage, texture, and quality.
• Maintain finishing tools, spray equipment, and work area in safe condition.
• Safely handle and store finishing materials per standards.
• Perform touch-ups and refinishing to meet specs.
• Collaborate with finishing team and other departments to meet production goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within finishing and across teams.
