Leisure Time Stain & Seal is seeking an Apprentice Wood Care Technician to learn wood restoration and grow toward a Lead Technician role. You’ll work outdoors on fences, decks, roofs and other wood features, applying pressure washing, sanding and staining to high standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy items and handle a physically demanding outdoor workload.
• Reliable transportation to reach various job sites.
• Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Schedule: Full availability Monday–Thursday; occasional Friday as needed due to weather delays.

Responsibilities

• Restoration: Pressure washing and soft washing homes, roofs, and decks to prepare them for treatment.
• Craftsmanship: Sanding and staining exterior wood (fences, decks, log cabins) to high-quality standards.
• Maintenance: Performing minor repairs on decks and fences to ensure structural integrity.
• Precision: Maintaining equipment and reporting project status with high accuracy.
• Safety & Logistics: Managing tools and adhering to safety protocols on every job site.
