Are you a woodworking professional seeking an engaging career? Door Renew is seeking a Field Technician to assist in the restoration and finishing process of entryways valued customers. As the Field Tech, you'll ensure quality control and timely production, ensuring every door meets our high standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Skillfully disassemble and meticulously clean door hardware and inspect doors for damage or rot
• Perform repairs, remove imperfections, and fill in cracks with meticulous attention to detail
• Apply stains, paints and topcoats, ensuring a flawless finish
• Ensure brand standards and client preferences are met for door refinishing services
• Prioritize safety and well-being of team members and maintain shop organization and cleanliness
• Collaborate with customers when onsite to understand their finishing and color preferences
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to set and achieve production goals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Certificate in Woodworking Technology (preferred)
• 2-4 years of prior woodworking experience (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in painting, staining, and finishing techniques
• Advanced hand-eye coordination and design skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Hands-on experience with a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
• Safety toed shoes
