Job summary

WonderWorks Orlando is seeking Admissions Attendants to greet guests and set the tone for a memorable upside-down adventure. You will be the first point of contact, sharing information and guiding visitors through the attraction.

A friendly, customer-focused approach is essential, with cash handling at the POS and upselling opportunities for tickets and add-ons. The role includes weekend and night shifts, with seasonal and part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills, including making change.
• Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attraction.
• Answer guest questions and offer assistance with exceptional customer service.
• Process transactions through the POS system with proper cash handling in a high-volume environment.
• Upsell guests on add-ons such as combo tickets, souvenir books, and ticketed shows when applicable.
• Answer phones and redirect calls courteously to the appropriate department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment per WonderWorks standards.
• Follow the checklist for required duties and timelines.
• Address and manage guest complaints; escalate to the Manager on Duty when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WonderWorks Orlando is looking for Admissions Attendants to join our team! Our Admissions Attendants are the first to interact with our guests as they welcome them into the adventure of the upside-down building. Admissions Attendants are an intrinsic part of positive ticket sale interactions including sharing valuable information with guests, setting the tone for the WONDERful experiences they have in store for them inside the attraction!

Responsibilities:

• Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attraction
• Answer guest questions and offer assistance in a friendly manner that provides exceptional customer service
• Accurately process transactions through a point-of-sale system (POS system) including proper cash handling in a high-volume environment
• Upsell guests on additional services offered at the point of sale including combo tickets, souvenir books, and ticketed shows if applicable
• Answer phones and redirect calls in a courteous, professional manner to the appropriate department
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to WonderWorks standards
• Follow the checklist for required duties and timelines
• Address and manage all complaints and concerns that occur during shifts; if unable to appropriately resolve, refer guest complaints and/or incidents to the Manager on Duty
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous themed entertainment and sales experienceis preferred

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the work area
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Minimum requirements for all positions:

• Observational skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needs
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
• must be available to work a minimum of 3 dayswith ANYshift time during the week(Monday-Friday) AND at least one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday) with ANYshift time
• Previous themed entertainment experienceis preferred
