Responsibilities

• Assist Veteran patients as part of an interdisciplinary team in rehabilitation settings.
• Support Veterans in articulating recovery goals and developing wellness skills.
• Model coping strategies and provide peer support within outpatient, inpatient and community contexts.
• Under supervision, learn and complete certification training to become a peer specialist.
• Document activities and monitor Veterans' progress while maintaining confidentiality.
