• Assist physicians and other staff in rehabilitation treatment programs.
• Learn and develop skills to perform as a peer specialist and earn credential.
• Model coping techniques and support Veterans in recovery.
• Provide peer support and advocacy in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings.
• Under supervision, gain experience through state or VA-approved certification training.
